Welcome to Mrs. Herrell's 3rd Grade Team

We will be studying and learning about many things this year! Third grade is a year of transition from the development of skills to the development of independence. It is the year that students transcend from learning to read to reading to learn. It is also a time that students become responsible for their learning and begin their journey as life-long learners. In our classroom there is an emphasis on being a team player as well as a bucket-filler.
